Nick started his career in the automotive industry at the age of 16 as an apprentice in Central London, Nick acquired his City & Guilds certification in vehicle repair and maintenance.

After leaving collage Nick took on a role with an automotive parts retailer until finding Andy Savva in 1990 at his then garage Motor Services of Muswell Hill, Nick continued to work for Andy for 15 years, after Andy sold Shaftesbury Garage based in East Barnet in 2005, Nick went on to manage a small but successful garage in Hertfordshire for 8 years.

Nick Returned to work for Andy as Garage Manager in late 2014. In December 2015 he completed a management buyout of Brunswick Garage.


AndyGarage Manager

Andy has been interested in cars from a very young age.

He began his career at 16 with Cooper Bishopsgate BMW in 1989 and became a full member of the BMW Technicians Institute in March 1994.

In 1998 he moved to a Ferrari, Maserati and Lotus Dealership completed his Senior Technician Status with all 4 brands. After 10 years he decided to work for himself running a small but successful business.

He joined Brunswick Garage as reception supervisor and since Nick took over the garage, Andy has taken the role as Garage Manager, A title that comes with great experience and pride. He is very customer focused and his wealth of knowledge and experience is endless and his ability in dealing and communicating with customers is of the highest standard.

In his spare time Andy is an avid martial arts enthusiast and is an internationally qualified karate tournament referee and judge.


PanySenior Technician & MOT Tester

Panny has been a mechanic for 9 years.

He enrolled in North London Garages Apprenticeship scheme at a private garage.

He previously worked at Brunswick Garage when it was first opened in 2010. He left after a year to work with Nick the present owner at a different garage and was there for two years before re-joining the team at Brunswick Garage in 2016.

Panny has immense knowledge of garage life as he previously owned two garages himself before returning to Brunswick Garage and reuniting with his "OLD BOSS" Nick.


Mike-SMOT Tester

Mike joined our team in 2018 after a long career in Mechanics. He ran his own extremely successful business for over years before retiring.

Being an active person Mike soon realised that he needed to keep himself busy and truly missed the trade that he is so passionate about,.

Having known Nick for nearing 30 years he decided to join us as Senior MOT tester.


Mike-MSenior Technician & MOT tester

Mike M joined our team in May 2018 after previously working at an independent garage as an MOT tester. He had previously owned his own very successful garage in North London for many years. He is an avid enthusiast of American classic cars and specialises in restorations in his own time. He can't sit still for too long and having family members who fly aircrafts, he uses that opportunity to pop over to different countries every weekend!!

Having known Nick for nearly 30 years he was delighted to join our team as Senior Technician & MOT tester.



After leaving school, Louis did an apprenticeship with Hertford Regional College and qualified as a Motor Vehicle Technician and worked at an independent prestige car group and remained there for 7 years.

We were delighted when he joined our team in 2018 and is a valued member full of enthusiasm.

In his spare time, Louis is a very big football enthusiast who enjoys playing and spectating.



In 2015 Adam came to Brunswick Garage on a two week's work experience from school.

Brunswick garage offered him a Saturday job, and when he finished school he enrolled into North London Garages apprenticeship scheme.

Adam has now completed his NVQ level 2 and continues his training to achieve his level 3 qualification and works tirelessly to complete his apprenticeship as a qualified Technician and eventually aims to become an MOT tester


PeterRetired MOT Tester

Started working for Hillman in 1965.

Moved to Dina Jaguar in Golders Green in 1967 where he stayed until 1988 when he opened his own Jaguar and prestige car repair company "Goodman Motor Engineers LTD".

Peter’s knowledge of Prestige and classic sports car is invaluable. Peter has three children and enjoys scuba diving in his spare time, he is also a qualified search and rescue diver!

Peter retired from Brunswick Garage in early 2016 but we couldn't quite say goodbye and neither could he. Peter remains a valued member of the Brunswick Family and from time to time he returns to grace us with his unforgettable smile!


JasonService Advisor

Jason joined our team in July 2018 and is our front of house Service Advisor.

Jason moved to London from Lowestoft in Suffolk and comes with a wealth of knowledge in the automotive trade having worked at a large well known franchise repairer and being a technician for approximately 32 years.

He is a keen sport enthusiast.


JoLand Rover Technician

Having qualified with Land Rover following a 3 year apprenticeship, Jo joined the Brunswick family in August 2018 and is our experienced Land Rover technician.

He comes with a wealth of knowledge and is an asset to our team.

Jo is a keen football fan and enthusiast and also played for Cheshunt home team until recently.



Wife of Nick, Mother of 2 children, Baker, Coffee maker, Administrator.

Andy has been in the industry for over 25 years including 6 years at a BMW Main Dealer , one of the highlights being when Andy's Shaftesbury Garage won the prestigious "National Independent Garage of the Year" Award in 2001. He sold Shaftesbury Garage based in East Barnet in 2005 to persue a more academic career graduating from Loughborough University in 2007 with A Diploma in Automotive Retail Management. He went on to provide specialist consultancy to struggling businesses within the motor industry. This often included main dealers within the VAG, BMW and Nissan Network as well as Independent Garages and Parts Wholesalers. Andy is a regular speaker within the Automotive Industry.

It was not long before Andy realised his passion and drive was to run his own establishment again, Thus Brunswick Garage was born.

Andy's Vision and Customer Promise for Brunswick Garage is what sets it apart from other Independents and Main Dealers alike.

Andy is a keen golfer, cyclist, a senior county referee and is also involved with a variety of charities locally.

In December 2015, Andy sold his business to the then manager Nick Germanou.

Andy will remain within the Automotive Industry which he is passionate about in a consultancy role and will continue to work and speak with a variety of Retail & Aftermarket Organisations.
